The Pledge for Trans Liberation
We are a group of transgender, non-binary, and two spirit Minnesotans. We are asking candidates for elected office to pledge their support.
The consultant class of the Democratic Party has been pushing the narrative that trans rights are an election loser. But with the Trump Administration pushing hard to eradicate transgender people from society, we need our Democratic leaders to step up and support us. The consultant class thinks candidates will fail if they do this.
We’re calling their bluff.
There are enough trans, non-binary, and two spirit adults in Minnesota to swing an election. We are asking DFL candidates for office to commit to supporting transgender Minnesotans. These are promises to the trans community we want our representatives to be held to, and a commitment to do right by this community.
NOTE: This pledge is for our cisgender allies in office. Transgender, non-binary, and two spirit elected officials and candidates do not need to sign.
SEE THE PLEDGE BELOW.
