The Pledge:

As Attorney General of Minnesota, I pledge to:

• Stand up for trans rights by pushing back against the Trump administration’s attempts to undermine them

• Pursue suits against health care providers who stop providing care for trans patients while continuing those treatments for cisgender patients

A Note:

Keith Ellison cannot commit himself to a specific legal position by signing this pledge, but voices his ongoing support and committment to protecting the trans community in whatever fashion that looks like to fight back against the Trump administration’s unconstitutional and illegal efforts to harm this community and all Minnesotans.
